How to edit my CSV file?

Learn how to edit your CSV metadata file to create NFTs.

The CSV metadata file is crucial as it holds all the key details about your NFTs.
Let's break it down:

First Column: NFT Name

This is where you'll enter the name of each NFT.
For example, in my file, the first row has "EthericOrb," which will correspond to the media file named "1" that I'll upload.

Second Column: NFT Unit

Consider this as a nickname for your NFT. It's optional, and I personally left it unchanged to help match each row with my media files.
However, you can customize it if you wish, such as using your collection’s name followed by a number, like the creator of MINGO did. The choice is yours.

Third Column: NFT Description

Here, you'll provide a brief description of each NFT. Make sure it's not too long.

Fourth Column: NFT Supply

This specifies how many editions of each NFT you want to mint.
For example, if you mint 10 NFTs with a supply of 10 each, you will mint 100 NFTs in total.

Remaining Columns: NFT Traits

These columns are customizable and allow you to define traits for each NFT.
You can rename the headers to define traits like I did in the example folder (Rarity, Shape, Object Color, Background Color, etc.).
Be mindful not to overcomplicate with too many traits, as they are used by buyers as filters on the marketplace.

Once your CSV metadata file is ready

You'll need to upload the following:
- The CSV metadata file with details for all the NFTs in your collection.
- A media file for each NFT.

For instance, if your collection contains 10 NFTs, like mine:
- You'll need to upload 11 files in total (the 10 media files + the CSV metadata file).
- Note that if some of your NFTs have multiple editions, you'll only need to upload the media file once.

It's also important to note that:

- The files must be numbered chronologically to match the rows in the CSV metadata file.
- Supported media file types include MP3, MP4, JPG, GIF, PNG, PDF, and SVG, with a maximum file size of 50MB.
