I'm an eligible testnet participant, how to edit my wallet address to receive my EXA tokens?

This tutorial is dedicated to testnet participants whose wallets had been compromised during the MyAlgo hack.

By following this guide, you will submit a new wallet address to receive your EXA tokens. You have until Thursday, December 12th, 2024, 8 PM CET to proceed. Any request made after this time and date will not be considered.

EXA tokens will be airdropped to the community on Monday, December 16th, 2024. The token claim will be available exclusively at https://exa.market/.

Eligible testnet users from 2021 will receive 100% of their original allocations. The total Incentivized Testnet Rewards pool has increased from 0.16% of the total supply to 0.49%, resulting in all eligible testnet participants receiving approximately three times their original allocation.

In this tutorial, we will use Pera Wallet to perform actions. All transactions are performed on the Algorand blockchain, on testnet only. This process only uses testnet tokens, which are free to claim. No use of mainnet tokens are required.

In this tutorial you will:

• Claim 10 free testnet ALGO;
• Send a zero ALGO transaction, on testnet, from your compromised wallet to our wallet, to confirm ownership;
• Include a transaction note with your new wallet address for the airdrop.

⚠️ Before proceeding, make sure to import your eligible wallet into Pera Wallet (the one affected by the hack). The testnet transaction must come from the wallet registered during the testnet rewards campaign. Even if this wallet has been rekeyed by the hacker, you can still proceed.

⚠️ Make sure the address you use to perform the testnet transaction corresponds to the one you provided during the testnet rewards campaign.

⚠️ Make sure the new address you provide in the transaction note for receiving the token is correct.

⚠️ Please proceed with caution as transactions are irreversible. Double-check all information before confirming, as we cannot make changes for you after the transaction is sent.

⚠️ If you provide multiple addresses or perform the action more than once, only the first submission will be considered.

Before you start, make sure to import both your eligible wallet and your new wallet on Pera:

1. Enable Testnet mode: Developer Settings > Node Settings > Testnet
2. Add an account via "Watch an account" and paste in this account to watch:

3. Now we're going to add some testnet ALGO to the eligible wallet:
   a. Copy the address of your eligible wallet (the one affected by the hack).
   b. Go to https://bank.testnet.algorand.network/
   c. Paste in the wallet
   d. Perform the captcha verification
   e. Click on "Dispense"
   f. Wait for the confirmation.
4. Go back to Pera wallet
   a. Copy the address of the wallet you want to receive your EXA token allocation
   b. Select on the wallet affected by the hack
   c. Click on "Send"
   d. Select "Algo"
   e. Enter "0"
   f. Select 2TBMU4MWSMDUI4ROQRGEAEL2KRZGI2U442QRJLCN7XZCZZAZKJQZE5CODY as receiver
   g. Click on "+ Add Note"
   h. Paste in the wallet to receive your EXA token allocation
   i. Click on "Confirm transfer"
5. Congratulations! You're now all set 🎉 Don't forget to switch back to mainnet after this process.
